Our full dome show programme runs every weekend and on school holidays. **

From Tuesday to Friday during school term time we run one dome show per day at 2pm: We are Guardians

20% discount if you book two or more dome shows.

For each session we will have a team of experts to help you navigate the night sky using our telescopes (weather depending) along with a dome show in our digital theatre.

Our World from Space Saturday Club

Embark on a captivating journey through the wonders of our home planet, as seen from space, at our family Our World from Space Club. Once a month we will explore a range of topics from the vital roles of satellites in monitoring the Earth’s every-changing surface; uncovering the forces that sculpt our weather and climate; exploring our vast oceans and lands.
Learn together with your child (perfect for KS2 children) in this fun and interesting club at the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium!
Each session will involve learning in our digital theatre, an indoor activity and an outdoor activity.

We run them on the last Sunday of every month at 4pm.

Come and view this show which has been translated into BSL and ISL.

CapCom Go is an immersive, historical documentary that showcases the achievements of the Apollo programme and what it took to put the first human on the Moon. It introduces a new generation to the immense challenges that were overcome and will inspire them to become the explorers, designers, engineers, thinkers and dreamers of the future!

Mission Santa 2023

*This is the same show as performed in 2022

It’s a real Code Red! Join our E.L.F. crew on Mission Santa and blast off on a Christmas adventure. Your out-of-this-world adventure will include:

★ Admission to “The Alien Who stole Christmas” full-dome show in the star dome theatre

★ Help save Santa inside mission control during a theatrical show, along with a visit to see Santa!

★ A present for each child

★ A printed family photograph

Each mission will last between 90-120 minutes

Pre-Booking is essential

British Sign Language and Irish Sign Language Interpreted show on Sat 25th Nov 9.30am and Fri 22nd Dec 3pm. BSL and ISL Interpreted shows are thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Relaxed sessions: 9.30am Sun 26th Nov and 3pm on 12th, 14th, 20th and 21st Dec.

*Relaxed sessions have reduced capacity and held at quieter times in the Planetarium
